Her paintings exhibit a unique and masterly style. Some of Catherines' most provocative work synthesizes portraiture with nature to create extremely interesting, camouflaged subjects. Her watercolors depict emotional experiences or memories that cross every ethnic barrier and unite us all in similarity. Strong light, bold values, and a sense of timeless mystery fill her work. Delicate subtleties in hue, glazed in transparent washes, with layers of poured paint describe her techniques. She is inspired to capture natures' perfection and interfuse it with the never ending, ever powerful human spirit. Catherines' original watercolor paintings and prints are available at her Artwork Ten Studio and here online.
